How this site and the small set of personal automation tools I run handle data.
Last updated: August 29, 2026

This is the personal website and portfolio of Abhishek Rajpurohit. It also serves as the homepage for a small set of personal automation tools that I run for my own use. This policy explains what data this website and those tools touch, why, and what happens to it.

Information this website collects

The website itself (abhishekrajpurohit.in) is a static portfolio. There is no account system, no login, and no newsletter that captures personal data beyond what a visitor voluntarily submits.

If you use the contact form, submitting it sends me the name, email address, and message you provide. I use that information only to read your message and reply to you.

The site is hosted on Vercel. Like any web host, Vercel records standard request logs - your IP address, browser user agent, and the URL you requested. These logs are retained briefly for security and diagnostics and are not used to build any profile of you.

For traffic measurement the site uses Vercel Analytics and Vercel Speed Insights. These report aggregate, anonymous usage and performance data (such as page views and load times). They do not use tracking cookies and are not tied to your identity. The site uses no other third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking scripts.

Personal automation tools & Google user data

I operate personal automation scripts that connect to my own Google account - and, with their permission, a family member's account - through the Gmail API.

These tools access Gmail data solely to:

  • read specific transactional and newsletter emails;
  • extract structured information from them (for example, bank transaction alerts or newsletter content); and
  • produce personal summaries and notifications that are delivered privately to me as the operator (for example, via Telegram or a local dashboard).

The tools run on infrastructure I control. Any data extracted from email is stored locally or on my own private servers.

Google user data is never sold, shared, or transferred to any third party. It is not used for advertising. It is not used to train machine-learning models.

Access is limited to the minimum Gmail scopes required for the tasks above, and it can be revoked by the account owner at any time from https://myaccount.google.com/permissions.

My use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Data sharing

No personal data is sold or rented. Data is shared only with the infrastructure providers strictly necessary to run this site and these tools - for example, Vercel for hosting, Google for the Gmail API, and Telegram for delivering my own notifications. Each of these acts as a processor handling data on my behalf.

Data retention

Hosting logs are kept only for the short term. Contact form submissions are kept only as long as needed to correspond with you. Data extracted by the automation tools is retained on my private systems for personal record-keeping and is deleted when it is no longer needed.

Your rights & contact

If you would like to know what data I hold about you, or you want it deleted, email me at abhishekrajpuohit@gmail.com and I will respond.
